Roller shutters in Villeneuve-Loubet

Villeneuve-Loubet is two places at once. Down at Marina Baie des Anges and along the beach, buildings take salt spray head on and the co-ownership rules are strict. Up in the village and the residential hills, the constraints are ordinary and the choice is wider.

On the seafront: lacquer and fittings

Facing the water, the finish is not decoration, it is protection. Lacquered aluminium resists the salt film that forms and re-forms on the façade every night. What needs the most attention are the accessories — fixings, end caps, guide brackets — because those are what fail first on this exposure.

Co-ownerships: one colour for everybody

The large seafront developments generally impose a single colour on the whole building, sometimes a specific RAL written into the by-laws. Because we lacquer in our own workshop, the reference is applied in production, and we can match units fitted years earlier if only part of a building is being renewed.

The village and the hills

Away from the sea the questions are simpler: heat on south-facing bays, noise from the main roads, and security on a house that may be empty part of the year. Insulated slats deal with the first, a closed curtain with the second, reinforced slats and anti-lift devices with the third.

Solar motorisation, without works

Many flats and houses have no cable above the opening. A solar motor with a small panel fixed to the façade avoids any electrical work at all, which matters in a co-ownership where drilling through a common wall means asking permission.
