What to send us
You do not need exact millimetres to get a useful answer. Four things are enough to start.
- A photograph of the opening, taken from inside and, if you can, with the shutter box or hatch visible. This is the single most useful thing you can send.
- An approximate width and height of the opening. The definitive measurements are taken on site later.
- Your town, so that we know which fitters work in your sector.
- What you already have: an existing shutter to replace, a bare opening, or a window being changed at the same time.
If something is broken rather than missing, describe the symptom in your own words — it does not stop at mid-height, the strap turns without pulling, the curtain has come out of a guide rail. Those descriptions tell us more than a product reference.
What happens next
We tell you what applies, and what we rule out
Often the answer is smaller than expected: a curtain of slats rather than a whole unit, a motor rather than a complete replacement. We will say when a light repair is enough, and equally when it will not hold.
We manufacture to size
Once the measurements are confirmed, the shutter is built to your opening in our workshop at La Gaude. Colour, box type, slat and motor as chosen.
An approved fitter installs it
We introduce you to a professional in your area who orders from us. You deal with him for the installation, and the manufacturer remains reachable behind the product.
A few honest points
We do not publish prices, because a made-to-measure shutter has no list price: the size, the material, the box type and the motorisation each move the figure. We would rather give you a real number for your opening than a headline price that turns out not to apply.
We are not an emergency service. If your shutter is stuck this morning, we can tell you what is wrong and get the part made, but the visit is arranged with a fitter, not with us.
And we will tell you when the answer is no. An opening that cannot take the product you want, a solar motor on a north elevation in permanent shade: it is better said before the order than discovered afterwards.
